Infiniti Telecommunications is an Australian telecommunications company based in St Kilda, Victoria. Founded in 2001, the company carries brands like Avaya,[1] Ericsson-LG, and Alcatel systems. Infiniti Telecommunications works with clients across Australia and has been nominated the 2017 Infusionsoft Small Business ICON Best In Class award[2] and the 2011 Avaya Asia Pacific SME Reseller of the Year award.[3]

History[edit]

In 2001 Infiniti Telecommunications was founded under the brand name M2 Barter Telecoms.[4] In partnership with M2 Telecoms, the company supplied telephone services across Australia to the Bartercard Network.

In 2006, Pete Williams joined the team and the company was re-branded as Infiniti Telecommunications. During this same period, the business transitioned to the sales and service of telecommunications hardware.[5]

Over the next several years the company tried to launch a number of divisions, including Big Ear Headphones and Discount Mobiles each of which failed.

In 2008 the company launched Simply Headsets which was recognized with awards such as the Jabra award for Top Partner of the Year Australia in 2015 and the Jabra Asia Pacific Reseller of the Year award in both 2015 and 2017.[6]
