Script error: No such module "AfC topic".Ishmael Camryn Nicholson ( born November 4, 2003) is an Belizean youth leader serving as Governor General of Belize Children's Parliament since 2021, and previously served as Representative of Belize House of Representative from 2019 to 2021. He has served as a Belize representative from Dangriga Town since 2019. A member of the Belize Children's Parliament, Ishmael is the first person in Belize history to serve as Governor-General of Belize Children's. He is the first and current Governor-General of Belize Children's Parliament.
Currently, in his 1st term, Ishmael was appointed Governor General in 2021, He is the first person to assume this role. He is the Country Coordinator of CYPAN Belize (Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network), having begun his 1st term in 2021. Ishmael has led CYPAN since 2021—the country's first coordinator.
Early life and education[edit]
Ishmael Camryn Nicholson was born on 4 November 2003, in Dangriga, Stann Creek District. His mother Kisha Nicholson, is from Dangriga.
Nicholson spent his childhood in Dangriga, where his family owned a grocery shop.
Ishmael Nicholson attended Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Primary School and won a scholarship to Ecumenical High School, an academic school. His school reports showed hard work and continual improvement; his extracurricular activities included; student government and community service. He was a head boy in 2016–20, and outside school, he volunteer at his primary school. Other students thought of Nicholson as the " school principal ", although only being a student council member.
In 2020, Ishmael graduated from Stann Creek Ecumenical College, a community school in Dangriga, he is currently attending Stann Creek Ecumenical Joiner College.

Governor-General of Belize Children's Parliament[edit]
Ishmael became Governor-General on 4 November 2021.
In office currently, Ishmael is frequently described as the leader of the future.
Belize Governor General[edit]
As Governor-General of Belize Children's Parliament, Ishmael meets with Belize Governor-General Her Excellency Froyla Tzalam to discuss children's parliament business and their introduction to the children's parliament's first Bill.
