JS3 is a live release by The John Spignesi Band. It was recorded on March 27, 2021, at Ace Tone Productions in Bethany, CT with longtime collaborator, Matt Terribile.
Background[edit]
With the future of venues still uncertain in early 2021, Spignesi approached Terribile with an idea to record a live session at Ace Tone. Terribile created a session where he could simply hit record and JSB could play as if it was an actual show. The result is a natural sound of the band that showcases the live energy and vibe that occurs at every concert.
Release[edit]
This recording takes place in the interim period while the band was auditioning Keyboard players. The album was released for free on Spignesi's Birthday, as a thank you to all the fans for their support over the years. In addition, accompanying video was recorded by Patrick Delaney and Will Jakubiak, two long time friends of JSB.
