Jeremy Black (born August 20, 1962 in Wilton, Connecticut)[1][2] is an American actor best known for portraying the clones of Adolf Hitler in the 1978 science fiction film, The Boys from Brazil,[3] also starring Gregory Peck and Laurence Olivier.[1][2]
Black was born to David and Linda Black.[1] His mother was active in many cultural activities, including the New England Opera Company.[1] His father was a producer of Broadway shows.[1][2][4] Black attended Wilton High School.[1] He studied English literature at Harvard University.[2]
Black played the characters of Jack Curry, Simon Harrington, Erich Doring and Bobbie Wheelock, all of whom are four of the ninety-four clones of Hitler, in the 1978 film, The Boys from Brazil.[1] He continued acting for the theatre in Connecticut. As of 2002, Black has since then decided, after college, that acting in the New York City theatre was his preference rather than looking for film work in Hollywood. In 2002, Black played Jesus in Fred Newman's play, Sessions with Jesus at the Castillo Theatre in New York City.[2]
