Josh Simpson (born 1983) is an American writer and academic living in the UK.
Career[edit]
Simpson graduated with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh MSc programme in Creative Writing. His Juris Doctor is from Florida State University College of Law. Currently, he is a PhD Researcher at Strathclyde University, where his research focuses on the intersection of children's literature and children's rights discourses, and LGBT+ themes and representation in children's and young adult literature.[1] Selected fiction includes "A Picture's Worth" (2014) [2]; "Overshadow" (2016)[3]; and "Making Friends" (2017) ISBN 978-1-911343-15-8 Search this book on .[4]. Selected nonfiction includes "I am Worth It" (2016)[5]; and "I Meme You No Harm" (2017)[6]. His short story "Dead Remains" was shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship writing prize in 2017.[7]
