Moving from Amsterdam to London, Jyoty worked as a political scientist but soon transitioned to creative production, working for Mixcloud under their creative production company 'Loud'.[2] There, her career within music began, quickly working with companies such as Boiler Room and venues such as The Nest. A number of years later, Jyoty began to DJ and picked up a radio show on the well-known London-based radio station Rinse FM, to which she continues to host to this day. Later, she would go on to perform at Boiler Room, of which she had worked at earlier managing the door.[3]
Music Career
Jyoty's music career began to take precedence after launching print magazine Move Magazine, beginning to DJ and hosting a weekly radio show on London's Rinse FM. Leaving her position as a creative producer in 2020, she has since received notable recognition from various publications including Resident Advisor,[4] Mixmag,[5] The Face[6] and Stack Magazine.[7] Her 2019 Boiler Room performance[8] also received viral success as a result of a number of viral internet posts on YouTube, TikTok and Twitter. Having received support from BET[9] and others, receiving over 1.8 million views on YouTube and an estimated 22.1 million on TikTok.[10]

Her career has also included commercial campaigns for Burberry,[14] Adidas, Nike and others.
Music and culture magazine Dazed included Jyoty on their list of nominations for Dazed 100 in 2021.[15]
Jyoty now runs a number of ventures including her own event Homegrown, a podcast series For Real, For Real, whilst continuing her work on radio and as a touring DJ.
Jyoty's debut London 2022 headline show sold out within 5 hours.[16] Her subsequent double-headline shows in London in July 2022 sold out within 20 minutes.[17]
She was announced to perform as the co-headline act for Boiler Room's outdoor festival in September 2022[18] which has since been rescheduled for May 2023.
Jyoty has since sold out her two headline shows at KOKO and Paradiso as part of her debut 2022 European tour, which consisted of 20 dates.
