Early life

Kaitlyn Gold (born Kaitlyn Amber McDougald) is an Atlanta-born singer/songwriter/guitarist. Gold was multi-instrumental growing up and played with a few different projects in Atlanta until her early 20s when she married Jett Bryant, known for his role as himself in Dear God No!. She co-owned a dance company, TechnoToning, with her best friend at the time, known as Kaitlyn Bryant. In the summer of 2013, Jett and Kaitlyn separated, and she moved to LA to pursue her music career. She got a job bartending at The Viper Room where she met now-ex Tommy Black, bass player for Scott Weiland with The Wildabouts. Gold also became close with musician Jesse Hughes (musician) of Eagles of Death Metal, while there, among many others who all, in one way or another, helped her find the footing she needed to start playing music again.
