Kehinde Alli
Kehinde Alli (born 9 July 1969) is the father of Dele Alli, an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the England national team.
Birth
Kehinde Alli was born on 9 July 1969 in Ibadan, Oyo State, southwestern Nigeria. His parents, Chief Sanusi Olatunji Alli and Alhaja Rafat Alli, both hailed from Abeokuta, Ogun State. Both are now deceased. While working and residing in Ibadan, one of the largest cities in Africa, his father worked as an accountant with PZ (Paterson Zochonis) while his mother ran a prosperous trading business. Alli is one of seven children.
Education
Alli received his primary education at the ICC Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State, from where he proceeded to Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos State for his secondary education. Later, he attended Ogun State Polytechnic, where he studied business administration and graduated with distinction in 1989. From there, he attended Obafemi Awolowo University and graduated in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Career
After graduating from OAU, Alli worked briefly with Victory Merchant Bank at Oyin Jolayemi on Victoria Island in Lagos for his mandatory national youth service corps programme. He was retained by the organization following his excellent service and exemplary conduct. Afterwards, Alli moved to London, United Kingdom around mid-1994. He immediately began his master's degree programme in information systems management at De Montfort University in Milton Keynes. Alli has worked in several places and organizations and has vast experience as an IT consultant.
In 2001, he moved to Canada where he started working with Accenture Canada as an IT consultant. Also in 2001, he established his own business venture, Twintech Services Incorporated, focusing on communication satellites in West Africa. From 2002 to 2004, he commuted between Nigeria and Canada.
Alli later worked with IBM in the United States while also managing Twintech Services Limited (a major SAP Cloud technology partner in West Africa) and TTSL Energy, an oil and gas servicing company established by Kehinde Alli and his twin brother, Taiwo Alli. They also own a reputable property business in West Africa. Alli also owned and operated a home healthcare agency in Houston, Texas, with over 100 employees. A relentless pursuer of knowledge, Alli is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in healthcare administration at Walden University, United States.
Personal life
In 1994, while a master's degree student in information systems at De Montfort University in Milton Keynes, he married Denise Fitch. In 1996, Dele Alli was born. Kehinde Alli later remarried on 2 April 2005 to Omolola Alli. Their marriage produced Demi Abigail, Dara Jeremiah, Damisi Joshua and Deolu Jonathan, all Dele Alli’s siblings, who are schooling in Houston, Texas.
