Kim Tae-rae (Hangul: 김태래, born July 14, 2002), is a South Korean singer. He is best known for competing on the survival reality show show Boys Planet where he ranked 6th in the final episode, earning him a spot in the South Korean boy band Zerobaseone.

He was born on July 14, 2002, in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, Chungnam, South Korea.[1]
Career[edit]
2022–present: Boys Planet and Zerobaseone[edit]
On December 29, 2022, Kim was unveiled as a contestant on Mnet's reality-survival show "Boys Planet".[2] The show premiered on February 2, 2023.[3]
On April 20, 2023, Kim placed 6th with a total of 1,349,595 points in the final episode of Boys Planet, allowing him to debut with the winning group, Zerobaseone (ZB1).[4][5]
On April 27, 2024, Kim released his first original soundtrack "More than Enough" for Korean drama Queen of Tears.[6] Following the drama's popularity worldwide, Kim performed with the OST at KCON Japan 2024 on May 12, 2024. Later, the OST won Best OST at the 15th Korea Drama Awards.[7]
On October 2, 2024, WakeOne announced that Kim will release a new OST titled "If You" for the new TVING original series Way Back Love in 2025.[8]
