Krishnendu Mukhopadhyay ( কৃষ্ণেন্দু মুখোপাধ্যায় ) (born, 10th September 1964) is an Indian novelist and short story writer.

Early life and education[edit]

Krishnendu Mukhopadhyay did his schooling in Ichapur Northland High School. He completed his graduation in science, later completed engineering and MBA.

Career and bibliography[edit]

Krishnendu Mukhopadhyay’s short stories started appearing in Desh (magazine) [1], Sananda (magazine), Anandamela, Unish-Kuri, Kishore Bharati from 2005. His first book Radhika was published in 2008.

Awards and honours[edit]

In 2006 his mystery story Brahmakamal won the first prize in a literary competition organised by Desh (magazine) [7]. In the following year his science fiction Purva won the second prize by the same magazine.
