Larsen Jewellery is an Australian jewellery company founded in Sydney in 2007 by Lars and Susie Larsen, with its first location originating in Sydney's Strand Arcade.[1][2] The company has expanded to include locations with on-site workshops in Melbourne and Brisbane.[2] The company originated from its service, where customers can participate in creating their own wedding rings in their workshop studios.[3]
Lars and Susie Larsen established their jewellery business in 2007 after leaving careers in finance.[2][4]
As of 2021, the company operated studios in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, employing between 25 and 30 staff.[4] The company expanded its physical presence to Melbourne's GPO Building in 2010 and later to Brisbane.[2][4] Each location maintains a similar workshop setting to the original studio.[2]
Larsen Jewellery achieved a carbon-neutral status in 2017 through emissions auditing and certified offsetting projects.[1][2][4] Offering Fairtrade gold options while donating 10% of its profits to charity.[2][4] Larsen Jewellery employs a staff voting process to select the recipient charitable organisations. As of 2025, beneficiaries have included the Fred Hollows Foundation and the Cambodian Children's Fund.[2][4]
