LeadsConnect Services is an Indian agri-tech company, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company was founded in 2009 by Navneet Ravikar.[1] LeadsConnect Services is currently monitoring Crop Cutting Experiment (CCE) projects in 100 districts across India as a part of the Government of India’s flagship scheme, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). In addition, the agri-tech firm is also conducting the CCE in 23 districts of Assam on a pilot basis.[2][3]
Projects[edit]
The company has recently bagged projects from the West Bengal Irrigation and Waterways Department to assess and demarcate flood-prone regions of the state using temporal satellite imagery to create year-wise flood inundation maps based on historical data and images.[4] The company has also collaborated with ISF College of Pharmacy - Punjab for the development of an Intelligent Health Analytics platform for mitigating the risks of biological disasters.[5]
SIGMAA Pilot[edit]
In June 2022, LeadsConnect Services launched a pilot research project ‘SIGMAA’ in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. The SIGMAA study aims to identify and develop regions for producing high-quality crops like Basmati rice, wheat, and mustard that will give farmers high-value returns.[6]
