Lex Fridman Podcast (previously the Take it Uneasy Podcast and AI Podcast) is a podcast hosted by Russian-American scientist and podcaster Lex Fridman.[1] The podcast focuses on computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, consciousness, love and power. Many episodes feature interviews with prominent guests including American martial artist, podcaster, sports commentator, and comedian Joe Rogan, entrepreneur and business magnate Elon Musk,[2] American scientist and podcaster Andrew Huberman and Australian-American geneticist David Sinclair.[3] The podcast consistently ranks in the top charts on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.[4]

Background[edit]

The Lex Fridman Podcast launched on May 18, 2014[5], originally under a different name. It was created by Lex Fridman, an AI researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[6][7][8]

Guests[edit]

Swedish-American physicist Max Tegmark was the first guest on the Lex Fridman Podcast, appearing on the episode that aired April 19, 2018. Other notable guests include Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, Sam Harris, Andrew Huberman, Eric Weinstein, Steven Pinker, Jocko Willink, Jack Dorsey[9] and more.

Release[edit]

As of April 19, 2018, all Lex Fridman Podcast episodes are available in both audio and video format. Episodes are uploaded to popular podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts and videos are uploaded to YouTube.
