Libertarians (pol. Libertarianie) is a Polish libertarian and classical liberal party founded at the first Libertarians convention on 18 January 2020 in Warsaw and officially registered on 15 December 2021.[1]

Formation[edit]
A political movement called Libertarians was presented for the first time on Facebook on 8 December 2019. The Facebook fanpage was created by Cezary Świtała[2] just with the help of an acquaintance graphic designer. It doesn't need a lot of time to see that many people in Poland were waiting for some Libertarian party in Poland. After just a month there was enough people to convene a convent and found a political party.[citation needed]
Registration[edit]
At the start the party had many problems. Just after starting their signs collection that were needed to became officially registered, the COVID-19 pandemic outbroke. They decided to stop collecting signs in public places, because of high risk of infection. The collection was succefully ended in summer 2020, but after that time some structures that have been chosen on first convention already weren't in party, so the party needed next convention.
First date of the second convention was planned on autumn 2020, but next waves of pandemy and a big lockdown changed their planes again. Eventually the convention was made at 12 June 2021 and after that they could finally submit all documents to a court in Warsaw. After few corrects they became finally registered at 15 December 2021. Libertarians declared their registration at 31 December 2021 while doing major rebranding of whole party.
