Linguix is a grammar-checking software that consists of two major parts: a web application[2] and browser extensions for Google Chrome[3][4] and Mozilla Firefox.[5] The software uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect writing errors and suggest corrections. The product was initially called Textly.ai[6][7], but in 2019 it was rebranded as Linguix.com.[8]
The Linguix web application also has a built-in statistical module that calculates advanced readability metrics, and provides basic statistics on a texts’ reading or speaking time.
The software was first released in December 2018 by Textly, Inc. The company is headquartered in Miami Beach, Florida.[9]

It also offers a list of synonyms that can be used to replace the initial word in the text. This software also has a built-in database of English word definitions that can be viewed online.
The product is available as a web editor and browser extension for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox). Also, Linguix features a Premium service[12] (monthly, quarterly, or annual payment). Textly Inc. also offers an enterprise tool called Linguix Business[13] and a version for schools called Linguix EDU.[14]
