List of countries by property price index
List of countries by property price index shows the countries' affordability of housing. The index is based on the data of Property Prices Index for Country 2016 collected by Numbeo.[1] The result is drawn from the housing price to average income ratio. The higher the ratio indicates a less affordable land price and thus a higher property price ranking. Hong Kong tops the table in 2016, while Vietnam and Ghana are named as the second and third least affordable housing country. On the other end of the table, Saudi Arabia has the world's most affordable housing among the 102 countries in the survey.
