Little Alchemy is a 2010 multi-platform free-to-play browser game developed by Jakub Koziol and published by Recloak Games and released on December 8, 2010 at its earliest. The game introduces elements in the intention to create items, objects and other elements.

Gameplay[edit]

In Little Alchemy, the player start with four elements: air, earth, fire and water. The player mixes these elements to acquire new items or elements. The maximum amount of items that can be found is 580 items. By default, each item has its own name labelled at the bottom of it. Elements whose names are underlined clarifies that it cannot be fused together with another element. Such elements are named "final elements".

Achievements[edit]

There are achievements in Little Alchemy. To achieve them, the player must find a certain amount of elements. Once the player gets an achievement, a small message at the bottom of the screen pops up, congratulating the player for reaching the goal.

Release[edit]

Little Alchemy was released on December 8, 2010, with Android versions releasing on June 22, 2012, and iOS versions releasing nearly a month later, on July 19, 2012.

Reception[edit]

Script error: No such module "TV ratings". Little Alchemy mostly received positive reviews since then, praising its addictive and puzzling gameplay. However, some people were criticizing the game regarding its difficulty.

Sequel[edit]

A sequel, Little Alchemy 2, was released on August 23, 2017.[1]
