Lover is a 2018 American thriller film written and directed by Ralph Sepe Jr. in his feature debut. The film stars Ralph Sepe Jr., Victoria Beaudoin, and Davinder Singh.
Plot[edit]
A disturbed young man meets a beautiful young woman who calls herself Delilah. Over the course of a year they form a strong bond; but as they spend more time with each other they realize they've been building a relationship on lies. This sends them both on a path of self destruction.

Production[edit]
Sepe began writing the film in 2015,[1][2] and in April of that year, he crowdfunded the film on Kickstarter. By June, over $10,000 was raised.[3][1]
He shot the film in Boston, Massachusetts from January 2016 through August.[1]
Due to Sepe's large following on YouTube, the film was very highly anticipated,[4] with its first trailer garnering over 300,000 views on YouTube[5]
On December 14, 2018, Fuse Films Inc. released the film on Prime Video[6] and on Blu-ray[7].[8]

Critical response[edit]
The film's IMDb page holds a user score of 5.6/10. On its Letterboxd page, the film holds a user score of 2.7/5. On the review aggregator Google Play Movies, the film holds an 88% score.[9]
Karsten Runquist, in a two-and-a-half-star (out of a possible five) review said, "Again, [Ralph] has ambition and if there’s one thing I walked away with it’s that I’m very excited to see what he does next."[10]
