Events – The Meraki Fashion Show (2018)[edit]

On the 17th of November 2018, Luxe Agncy strategically launched to the world through their now inaugural event; the Meraki Fashion Show (MFS) at The MET Nightclub in Brisbane, Australia. The inaugural fashion show was viewed live by over 3 million people across the globe and brought Visibility to Disability on the runway through nationally recognised model Lisa Cox who is known as one of the most respected journalists, authors and presenters in Australia.[1]

MFS18 was hosted by Celebrity Emcee Bec McMillan from What's Hot TV alongside Jennifer Vines and Jaquie Amos. Through strategic sponsorships, national and international media coverage the event was widely seen as a major success. The red-carpet event was said to have had the feel of an Alexander Wang New York runway show with dark lighting, loud music, free-flowing champagne and elite guests.[2]

In partnership with Red Nose Australia, showcasing designers and sponsors the event raised nearly $5,000 for Sids and Kids through auctioning off experiences and designs from the runway.
