Lynkify is an Indian Software as a service platform that provides music marketing, audience management, and promotional tools for independent artists, podcasters, artist managers, and record labels. The platform includes smart links, bio pages, podcast hubs, fan relationship management (CRM), analytics, and collaboration tools designed to help creators manage and grow their audiences. Founded by Abishek Mahendhiran, Lynkify focuses on helping creators build and manage first-party audience data while promoting music and podcasts across multiple platforms.
Unlike general-purpose link-in-bio tools, Lynkify focuses on helping creators collect and manage first-party audience data, such as email addresses, in addition to routing listeners to streaming platforms.
Overview
Lynkify is designed to help independent music creators and podcasters build direct relationships with their audiences rather than relying solely on streaming services or social media platforms. The platform's products — smart links, bio pages, podcast hubs, event pages, and forms — are designed to funnel audience engagement into a centralized fan database that creators can view, filter, export, and connect to external email marketing tools.
Lynkify was developed in response to the fragmented nature of music promotion, where creators often relied on separate services for smart links, bio pages, audience collection, and analytics. The platform consolidates these functions into a single workspace intended for music creators and related organizations.
History
Lynkify was founded by Abishek Mahi and focuses on helping creators build and manage first-party audience data while promoting music and podcasts across multiple platforms.
Over time, the platform expanded beyond smart links to include bio pages, podcast hubs, live event pages, audience capture forms, analytics, and a centralized fan relationship management system. Later updates introduced workspace-based collaboration features for artist managers, agencies, and record labels.
Following the shutdown of Songwhip in 2022, Lynkify emerged as one of several platforms offering music smart-link services for independent artists.
Core products
Smart Links
Smart links, also called "release links," generate a single public URL for a music release. Visitors are shown a landing page listing the release across multiple streaming and download platforms and can be routed toward a platform based on device or location. Smart link pages support an optional embedded YouTube video, customizable visual themes, and an email capture prompt. Links can be created by importing metadata from a streaming URL, searching within the product, or entering a release's ISRC or UPC.
Bio Pages
Bio pages are customizable landing pages, similar in concept to general-purpose "link in bio" tools, built with music- and podcast-specific content blocks such as embedded releases, podcast episodes, live event listings, contact forms, and email capture. Bio pages are accessible at a per-account, username-based URL and support drag-and-reorder block editing and version history.
Podcast Hubs
Podcast hub pages are generated from a show's RSS feed and display a listing of episodes along with links to major podcast listening platforms. The platform also supports individual episode pages and a minimal podcast smart link for sharing a single episode. Podcast surfaces include the same email capture functionality used elsewhere on the platform.
Live Experience Pages
Live Experience Pages are dedicated pages for tours, concerts, meetups, and workshops. These pages display event dates, link out to external ticketing platforms, and can collect fan interest through waitlist sign-ups or city-based demand voting, in which fans indicate interest in a performance in their area.
Forms
Lynkify includes a form builder for use cases such as waitlists, contests, contact forms, and audience surveys. Forms support conditional field visibility and multi-step flows, and submissions can be synced into the platform's fan database.
Fan CRM
Lynkify includes fan relationship management (CRM) features, branded as Fan CRM. It is an aggregated database of fan contacts gathered across a creator's smart links, bio pages, podcast pages, live event pages, and forms. Each unique email address is represented as a single record, with source attribution preserved for each contact. Creators can view, filter, manually edit, and export fan records, and can connect the Fan CRM to third-party marketing platforms.
Analytics
Lynkify provides analytics covering traffic to a creator's public pages, including page views, platform click-throughs, geographic breakdowns, referrer and campaign attribution, and audience-capture conversion rates. Analytics can be viewed per individual asset or aggregated across an account.
Team Collaboration
Lynkify supports multiple users collaborating on a shared account through role-based permissions, allowing creators to invite managers, designers, or other collaborators with varying levels of access to content, publishing, analytics, and billing.
Workspace architecture
Lynkify organizes accounts around the concept of a "workspace," which functions as a container for a creator's complete presence on the platform — including links, pages, fan data, analytics, and billing. An individual user login can belong to more than one workspace, which allows a single person — such as a manager or designer — to collaborate across multiple artist accounts. Billing and team permissions are tied to the workspace rather than to an individual user account, which allows labels and management companies to operate multiple artist workspaces under a single billing relationship.
Integrations
Lynkify connects to a number of external streaming and marketing platforms. Smart links can route listeners to services including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, Deezer, Tidal, Bandcamp, and regional platforms such as JioSaavn and Gaana. For audience data, Lynkify supports integrations with third-party email marketing and CRM platforms including Mailchimp, Klaviyo, and ConvertKit.
Business model
Lynkify operates on a freemium subscription model with plans for individual creators, teams, artist managers, and record labels. Paid plans provide additional capabilities, including custom domains, expanded analytics, and integrations with third-party services.
Target audience
Lynkify targets independent music creators, podcasters, artist managers, and record labels.
