MGC is an EU based bio-pharmaceutical company founded in 2005 by Roby Zomer and Nativ Segev.[1] MGC Pharmaceuticals is also a publicly traded company in the Australian Stock Exchange as MXC.[2][3][4] The company's core business is a seed to pharmacy pipeline, which develops and supplies high-quality cannabinoid-based pharmaceutical products to medical markets globally.[5][6]

MGC Pharmaceuticals uses cannabis ingredients (cannabinoid) to treat diseases such as Epilepsy and  Dementia.[5][7] It has collaborated with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia on a project to oversee cannabis research activities at the institute.[8][9][10]

MGC has published several whitepapers dealing with medical cannabis to treat epilepsy, cancer, and multiple sclerosis.[11][12] MGC Pharma signed a 5-year, supply and distribution agreement with European pharmaceutical distribution company, Lenis Farmacevtika.[13][9][14] MGC received legal permission for the sale of cannabis based medicine for medical use in Australia's new market.[15][16][17] MGC Pharma sells MGC Derma business to strategic partners  with a five year supply agreement for MGC Pharma's cannabidiol (CBD) and cosmetics raw material to Cannaglobal products.[18][19][20][21][22]

Revenue

MGC sponsored CannaTechUK 2017 held at the Old Truman Brewery in East London's arts and media quarter in October.

MGC Pharma added 31.37%[23] to its share price after its CannEpil medical cannabis product received an Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration approval for reimbursement to people with drug-resistant epilepsy.[5] The firm raised over $5 million through a share placement to professional investors at 7 cents per share.[24][25]
