Maulana Mukhtar Ahmed Nadvi was born in 1930 in Maunath Bhanjan. He is an Indian muslim scholar. He had led many educational and social movement in india to improve the empowerment of People specially muslims there. [1]

Establishing Jamia Mohammadia Mansoora[edit]

In 1975, he established Jamia Mohammadia Education Society (JMES) in 1978. It was located in Malegaon, a Muslim dominated town 280 kms to Mumbai.

He also opened branches at Maunath Bhanjan, Dhule, Akot and Bangalore.

This foundation had built hundred of mosques over all india.
