Max Read is an American journalist. Read is currently the editor-in-chief for Gawker.

Read joined Gawker as a staff writer.[1] Previously, Read has written for The Daily Beast, Time Out, and Anthem Magazine.[1]
Editorship[edit]
In March 2014, Max Read took over the role of editor-in-chief after John Cook left Gawker to work for First Look Media's online publication The Intercept.[1][2][3]
Recognition[edit]
In May 2014, Time named his Twitter account one of "The 140 Best Twitter Feeds of 2014".[4]
