Meenakshi Kandwal is an Indian television journalist and news anchor, known for her work with leading Hindi news channels such as Aaj Tak,[1] [2]India TV, and Zee News. Known for her articulate presentation and engaging style, she has become a recognizable face in Indian television news broadcasting.
Early life and education
Meenakshi Kandwal was born in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. She pursued her higher education at Delhi University, where she completed her undergraduate degree. She later obtained a postgraduate diploma in journalism, reportedly from the YMCA Institute for Media Studies and Information Technology, New Delhi.
Career
Meenakshi Kandwal began her media career in 2010 after winning the “Star Anchor Hunt” organized by ABP News. The competition, which aimed to find fresh talent for television journalism, gave her a direct entry into the world of TV news.
Following this, she joined India TV, where she worked as an anchor and reporter.[3] She later moved to Zee News, before finally joining Aaj Tak, one of India’s top-rated Hindi news channels.
