Personal life[edit]
Michael was born on January 24, 1996 in Miami, Florida. Michael graduated from Palmer Trinity School, then attended Miami-Dade College, before transferring to Babson College in fall of 2015. In the summer of 2018, Michael and Matthew announced their withdrawal from Babson, dedicating themselves entirely to Lula.[1]
Lula Rides[edit]
During Michael and Matthew's time at Babson College, they often found themselves stranded on-campus because they did not have a car.. One particular weekend night, they were craving Papa Johns Pizza. Matthew called a few locations in the area, and was told that they did not deliver to the campus. Next, he checked Uber prices, but it was too expensive. Ultimately, they settled for a local pizza shop. When the deliveryman arrived, Michael met him outside. There, Michael saw the parking lot full of student vehicles, and thought, "Wouldn't it be cool if there was an app that let me rent another student's car?"[2]
In February of 2018, Lula launched its pilot on several schools in the state of [[Massachusetts], and has continued to expand to over 400 college campuses around the United States.
Reception[edit]
Michael, along with his brother, has been featured on several news outlets and media publications, including NBC, the Miami Herald, Bostinno, Americanno, and Wellesley Weston Magazine.
He is a Kairos Society fellow, and has previously been named as one of the 50 most up-and-coming founders in the United States.
