Moon Jae-yun (Hangul: 문재윤; born Alex Moon on July 2, 2002), known mononymously as Jaeyun (Korean: 재윤), is a Korean-New Zealand singer and dancer. He is well known as a member and the leader of the South Korean boy group 8Turn, which debuted in 2023 under MNH Entertainment. He is also a former contestant on the reality survival shows, 2016's Boys24 and 2017's Mix Nine.

Moon Jae-yun was born Alex Moon in Seoul, South Korea on July 2, 2002.
Career[edit]
2016-2019: Pre-debut, Boys24, Mix Nine[edit]
At the young age of 13, Jaeyun, then under his English name Alex Moon, was introduced as a contestant on the reality survival show Boys24, the show that determined the members of Skye (then known as In2It). A member of the show's Red Unit, he was unable to make it into the top ranks and was unfortuately eliminated.
In 2017, he was a participant on YG Entertainment's reality survival show Mix Nine, representing Liveworks Company. He ranked 50th during the 10th episode and was subsequently eliminated.
2022-2023: Debut with 8Turn[edit]
On October 11, 2022, Jaeyun was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group 8Turn (then known as BOM) under MNH Entertainment. He was then officially introduced on October 25.[1]
