Muhammed Daiyabu Paki is the director general of the Kaduna State Facilities Management Agency.[1] He was appointed on 8 August 2018 by the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai.[2] He is a member of the All Progressives Congress, a political party in Nigeria. He was also a member of the Kaduna state transition committee handing over to the Uba Sani administration.[3] He was the local government chairman of Ikara local government area, Kaduna State, from 2015 to 2017.
Early Life and Education[edit]
Daiyabu was born in Zaria, Kaduna State. He attended Barewa College, Zaria, and obtained a bachelor of science in quantity surveying from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria[4] in 2007.
Abuja- Kaduna Train Attack[edit]
On 28 March 2022, Daiyabu and more than 60[5] passengers were kidnapped on the Abuja–Kaduna train attack.[6] After the intervention of the Nigerian government, he and six others were released 9 July 2022.[7][8] To honour the victims of the train attack, author Dada Yussuff dedicated his book Fixing Nigeria: The Job That Must be Done to Daiyabu and the other victims of the attack.[9]
