National Route 56 (N56) is a primary route that forms part of the Philippine highway network. Four roads form the route, although they seem to be one road with different section names. The route connects Pangasinan and Nueva Ecija.[1][2]
History[edit]
Route description[edit]
The route starts in San Jose as a four-way intersection[3] in Maharlika Highway (N1/AH26) and San Jose–Rizal Road (N111). The road is named San Jose–Lupao Road. At an unspecific area[3] in Lupao, the road is called Bakit Bakit–Umingan Junction Road. After reaching the end of the Bakit Bakit–Road section name in Balungao, the route continues at N56 section of Pangasinan–Nueva Ecija Road (N114/N56). The traverses and ends in Rosales as a four-way intersection with Manila North Road (N2) and Carmen Jct–Manat Road (N212).
Intersections[edit]
Intersections are numbered by kilometer posts, with Rizal Park designated as kilometer 0.
Province | City/Municipality | km | mi | Destinations | Notes |
