Nadeem Mohammed is a Dutch a cappella nasheed artist, composer, vocalist and writer. Belonging to South Asian descent, he is a devout Sunni Muslim residing in the Netherlands. His work features faith-driven lyrics and pop-inspired acapella arrangements. In 2015, he began producing in his bedroom and uses Youtube as a platform to get the message of peace across the globe.
Biography[edit]
Leaving music behind after being depressed, Mohammed started becoming more practicing in his faith. In 2015, he made the decision to become a vocals-only nasheed artist. After releasing six lyric videos for his nasheeds in the space of two years, he made his first appearance in the "Feel Bad" official video. His wife, Shahida, passed away on 4 April 2019 as a result of a rare auto-immune disease (lupus). This affected Mohammed greatly, and he ended up taking a long break from releasing new nasheeds for two years.
From 20 to 26 December 2019, he went on tour with Night of Vocals performing in Manchester, London, Blackburn, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leicester and Bradford respectively. This was his first time in the United Kingdom.
In January 2021, he posted an image of himself on Instagram with the caption The Next Chapter, commencing the next stage of Mohammed's career in the nasheed scene. On 11 March, he announced the release of his next single, "Bow Down" to come 11 days later with an official video. He collaborated with British nasheeed artists Omar Esa and Mo Khan in a nasheed titled "My Nabi", which was released on 9 April 2021 on Omar Esa's third album Allah and His Beloved.
