Mt Everest Controversy
Narender's Mt Everest expedition of 2016 with Seven Summit Pvt Ltd is controversial. He claimed that he summited Mt Everest, but after 4 years, in 2020, he was alleged to have submitted fake documents.[12] Due to this, he will not receive the Tenzing Norgay Award, which he was supposed to receive from the Indian Government.[13] His case is still ongoing in the Supreme Court of India. Some figures also claim that it is not fake, such as a clean chit from Seven Summit Pvt. Ltd.[14]
