Naveen Medaram[1] is an Indian film Director, Producer, and Writer. He initially started his career in Hollywood as a Visual Effects Artist for various feature films like, Pirate of Caribbean, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Harry Potter and The Dark Knight (film). After writing, directing and producing British films titled “London Life” & "Nice 2 Meet U”, he made his Telugu Industry debut[2][3] with Babu Baga Busy[4][5] (Remake of Hindi film Hunterrr),[6] and has recently released his latest web series "SIN" on Allu Aravind's Aha Video App.[7][8] under Sharath Marar's Northstar Production.

Early Life[edit]

Naveen Medaram hails from Nizambad, He was born in a family of a Govt. Employee, Medaram Indra Goud who was in Social Welfare Department, and his mother Shobha Rani was a housewife. His Siblings Praveen lives in USA and Rajashekar is a producer. Naveen graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad. And pursued Bachelors in Multimedia at Arena Animation, Hyderabad.

Career[edit]

Naveen started his filmmaking career with short film titled 'Philophobia', followed by feature films 'Nice 2 Meet U' and 'London Life' before his Tollywood debut, which he made in 2017 with Srinivas Avasarala starrer Babu Baga Busy. Following the success of Babu Baga Busy, He directed and produced 'SIN' web series for Aha (streaming service).

In July 2021, Abhishek Pictures annouced Devil: The British Secret Agent with Naveen at helm as a director and Kalyan Ram as the lead, Currently Naveen has wrapped the third-schedule[9] and film is expected to have a Pan-Indian release in later 2023.[10]
