Netlight Consulting is an international IT consultancy. It was founded 1999 in Sweden and operates offices in Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland. It focuses on the technical implementation and the delivery of IT services and is recognized for its non-hierarchical, gender-equal corporate culture.[1][2]
History[edit]
Netlight was founded by Henrik Sidebäck, Jonas Hovmark, Anders Larsson, Lars-Olof-Elfversson, Erik Ygberg und Kristoffer Nilsson on October 4, 1999 in Stockholm.[3] Initial discussions and ideas regarding the founding of the company already took place in August 1999. After the official foundation, Erik Ringertz, Jonas Elmlund and Staffan Martinsson were hired in autumn 1999.[4]
The first German subsidiary, Netlight Consulting GmbH, was opened in 2011 in Munich. Felix Sprick and Erik Ringertz were significantly involved in this expansion. Today, Netlight is represented in various parts of Europe: Stockholm (since 1999), Oslo (since 2008), Munich (since 2011), Helsinki (since 2013), Hamburg (since 2014), Berlin (since 2014), Zurich (since 2016), Copenhagen (since 2017), Frankfurt am Main (since 2019) and Amsterdam (since 2021).[5]
