Niagara Networks is a provider of network visibility solutions,[1] bypass switches, Network TAPs, network packet brokers[2], and high-port density systems based in Silicon Valley. These solutions are utilized by Security and Network Operations teams (SOC/NOC)[3] to monitor network traffic & data and allow seamless administration of security solutions.[4]

History[edit]

The company was a division within Interface Masters Technologies (IMT) which was founded in 1995. In 2017, the division was spun off to become an independent company to focus on the network and security visibility market.[5] Since the founding of Niagara Networks, IMT has continued to act as its parent company.
