Normanton Telecoms (stylised: Normanton Telecoms or Normy Telecoms) is a British provider of utility services to consumers on an international base. As of 2016 its core services include computer software, Broadband, VoIP telephony and Hosted service. They are best known for multiple services including the company's upcoming Normanton 2020 Plan,[1] Desktop Professional software and their claim to be the first ISP to supply Naked DSL within the United Kingdom.

Product Divisions[edit]

Normanton Telecoms splits its products into divisions related to the product category - these include Normanton Consumers, Crystal Hosting, Normanton 2020, Normanton Business and Soft Computers.

Normanton Consumers[edit]

This is the consumer based subsidiary of Normanton Telecoms - they supply Broadband, VoIP and Software to personal users. They also supply student discounts - one of the only ISP's within the UK to offer this service.[2]

Normanton Business[edit]

This is the business subsidiary of Normanton Telecoms - they offer the majority of consumer based services to small, medium and large businesses.

Crystal Hosting[edit]

This is the hosting provider of Normanton Telecoms. The subsidiary specialises in Hosted desktop, Hosted exchange and File server. They also supply VPN services to both consumer and business users.

Soft Computers[edit]

This is the software production brand of Normanton Telecoms - they currently produce the Desktop Professional brand[3] and have previously made Desktop Standard.

Normanton Direct[edit]

This is the direct sales brand of Normanton Telecoms - they utilize Amazon.com and eBay to sell direct to consumers.[4][5] They specialize in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Desktop computers and Laptops.

Normanton 2020[edit]

This is the plan of Normanton Telecoms to bring FTTP services to those living in Normanton, West Yorkshire by 2020. The plan also seeks to cut the need for line rental. Consumers will be given a choice on taking a line using VOIP services with SureVOIP.

Normanton Telecoms NL[edit]

This is the Dutch subsidiary based in Harderwijk.[6]
