Nyon Energy Park is a proposed storage and distribution facility in north of Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada. The area is to be a tank farm facilitating the storage and transport of commonly used fuels, such as gasoline, ethanol, diesel, aviation fuel, etc. A liquid natural gas facility has apparently been removed from the plan.
The planned site is expected to be on the east side of the city in a parcel of land bordered by the Welland Canal, Highway 140, and Welland.
Nyon Oil president Gordon Baker has made it clear to Port Colborne city councillors that the facility is not designed to manufacture or refine these fuels, stating: "This is a storage and distributing facility only"[1]
The start of construction and completion date are unknown.
