Organize-It is an online and brick and mortar retailer that specializes in storage and organization products for the kitchen, bath, and closet. It was founded in 1997 by Chris Nylen.
Overview[edit]
Organize-It started out by providing closet design services and sold closet systems to local customers. The brick and mortar store opened in 1999. The retail store is a 7800 sq foot space located in Shelby Township, MI.[2] Organize-It distributes many different storage and organization brands, as well as housewares. Organize-It was selected as a Best of MichBusiness 2015 Winner for their closet design.[3]
As of 2016, Organize It still offers custom closet products, professional closet design services, and has online closet design help.[4] Organize-It’s website has home decor, accent rugs, pet goods, household furniture, and shelving. On May 29, 2014, Organize-It acquired Stacksandstacks.com.[5] Stacks and Stacks was operated from Northern California and offered products to organize homes, offices, and gardens since 1984.[6]
Organize-It gave the Stacks and Stacks site a new layout and product selection. On October 22, 2014, Organize-it.com launched a responsive mobile shopping platform.
