OtakuKart is an Indian website focused on publishing news and content about anime, manga, movies, TV shows, and video games from around the world[2]. It was established in April 2015[3] by the Indian company OtakuKart Ltd. The site offers a variety of articles, including pop culture, celebrities, event coverage, and cosplay galleries. The website also reviews the latest TV shows, movies, anime, and manga.

History[edit]

OtakuKart has been in a stage of fast growth since its establishment in early 2015. The website was originally created as an anime store[4], however, sometime after, it was transformed into a news blog. It started blogging in November 2015, covering only anime and manga for the first seven months. In 2016, OtakuKart started writing on pop culture and video games. It was ranked fifth by Feedspot[5] in their list of top 50 anime websites, blogs, and newsletters. The site was ranked 5th by Anime Motivation[6] among sites like Anime News Network and Crunchyroll.
