PM Studios is a video game developer and publisher based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company was co-founded in 2008 by Michael Yum, its current CEO.[1] It has partnered with a number of different game developers in bringing their titles to digital storefronts including Steam, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store.[2][3] In addition to digital, PM Studios also publishes physical games and operates its own online store with titles and related merchandise.[4]
History[edit]
PM Studios made its publishing debut with rhythm game DJMAX Fever, released for the PlayStation Portable in January 2009.[5][6] Later that year PM Studios also released DJMAX Technika to arcades after location testing in such places that included the campus of UCLA.[7] Beginning in 2014 the company began releasing mobile games and apps.
PM Studios attends annual gaming events including PAX EAST[8] and PAX WEST[9] to exhibit new and upcoming titles to the gaming press and general public.
