Palakkad KSRTC bus station is a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus terminal in the state which has frequent bus services to coimbatore.[2] kozhikode, thrissur, Pollachi etc. The Stand connects northern and southern districts in the middle and also it connects to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The Stand is located at the heart of the Palakkad city at Melamuri Pudur -Kottayi Road, Pudupalli Theruvu in Nurani.[3]

Inter State Terminal[edit]

There is a interstate terminal and the shelter is working adjacent to the Palakkad KSRTC bus station, the terminal can accommodate five buses at the same time. A counter to issue ticket and an office building is also there at the bus terminal.[4]

Reconstruction[edit]

Now the Bus station is under reconstruction under the Kerala Government by using MLA Fund of Shafi Parambil.[5] A new Bus terminal building is constructed and the construction of a Yard and other additional works is under process.[6]
