A party submarine sandwich,[1] which is also known as party sub or giant sub for short, is an extremely long submarine sandwich designed for catering purposes, that aesthetically resembles a long submarine. This gigantic sandwich can either be one solid piece, especially when made by a catering service, or one that has many smaller sandwiches connected to each other, usually when home-made. The sandwich is usually made out of wheat or white bread, and has various fillings, typically used in regular sandwiches.
