Paul Lenert was born in Grevenmacher on 17 May 1965. He is a Luxemburgish Economist and Journalist who was educated at the University Louis Pasteur, Columbia University and the Harvard Business School.[1]

In January 2010, he was appointed CEO of the media company Saint- Paul Luxembourg S.A. and Director of several publications including Luxembourg’s National Newspaper the "Luxemburger Wort".[2]

His journalistic career started in 1984 as a Correspondent. He became a Journalist in 1991 where he wrote in the local news section of the "Luxemburger Wort". In 1995, he moved to the economics and finance section and became Head of Section in 1997. In 2002, Paul Lenert was appointed Deputy Editor-in-chief of the Luxemburger Wort. In 2004, he entered management and was appointed Vice-Director. In 2006, he became Deputy Director of Saint-Paul Luxembourg S.A. A year later, the Board of Directors appointed him Deputy General Director and on 1 July 2009 General Director of Saint-Paul Luxembourg S.A.[3]

He succeeds to Leon Zeches, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of the "Luxemburger Wort".[4] until 3 May 2013.[5]

Paul Lenert is married with two children. He is the son of Roger Lenert, former CSV MP and Mayor.[6]
