Plastic Solution is song by Australian survivalist Manu Toigo and Two Roads Plastic Project, and the song was released on November 9, 2019.[1] The song will be featured on the album "Rockin' the Reusables," which is an album supported by the Plastic Pollution Coalition.[2][3] 100% of the song's net profits will go toward fighting against plastic pollution.
Background[edit]
Manu first expressed interest in education and awareness of Plastic pollution in late 2018 when she tweeted about pollution she had found in the wilderness.[4] She then started to teach her campers at her summer camp.[5][6] It was then announced on October 9, 2019 that she had made a song with Two Roads Plastic Project that would be featured on the Plastic Pollution Coalition and Clarendon Road's music album.[7] The song premiered on YouTube on November 8,[8] and was released as a single the next day.[1][9] In an instagram post Manu stated how important this song and issue was to her.[10]
