The Plebeian Tribune Socialist Party (PTSP) is a communist political party in the United States. It describes itself as a Marxist organization and revolutionary party that fights for a democratic egalitarian society. It was founded on November 13th, 2021, by the party's current leader, Pierre Valentine. The party's name takes inspiration from the Tribune of the Plebs, the first office of the Roman Republic to be run by the plebeians that would hold a great check on the power of the Roman Senate and magistrates.
Political Positions[edit]
The "Three-Step Plan"[edit]
The party believes in a three-step path to the ideal society.
- The process begins with the implementation of a Vanguard State in a post-revolutionary society. The most class-conscious proletarians, described by the revolutionary vanguard, would form organizations to represent the worker's political power. This stage continues until all reactionary and counter-revolutionary movements are put down.
- Following this, a form of Anarcho-syndicalism would be built as to introduce a horizontal system of worker cooperatives, unions, and industrial armies. The end goal of this phase is to alleviate the need for money as a device for exchange by introducing the eradication of scarcity and to automate all heavy industry.
- Democratic confederalism will be adopted once the previous state becomes obsolete and withers away. Communes would take its place and govern society, removing all political hierarchy and unitary statisms, to be the deciding factor in all political motions. This would occur as most workers have gained political awareness and higher-phase communism is achieved.
Leftist Unity[edit]
A core value of the party is unity of the left. It primarily believes that every leftist movement has the potential to gain from a united front and opposes leftist infighting. As revolution is a crucial priority to the party, it seeks to have union in action and that factionalism impedes on the progress of the labor movement.

The majority of the party's discussions are held in Discord, and an official website has been launched as of December 7th, 2021. The party has multiple social media handles and organizes meetings in schools and libraries in the Alpharetta area surrounding the capital city, Atlanta.
