Patrick "Pat" Thomas Julianelle (born November 25, 1988) is an American YouTuber, criminal and owner of the PopularMMOs YouTube channel. The channel formerly uploaded Let's Play videos of the video game Minecraft with his ex-wife Jennifer "Jen" Flagg, also known as GamingWithJen, until they divorced in 2019.

After his divorce, Julianelle would commit multiple crimes including domestic battery, assault with a deadly weapon, breach of peace, criminal conspiracy, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, resisting with violence, and possession of marijuana.

Early life

Patrick "Pat" Thomas Julianelle was born on November 25, 1988, in Connecticut. He studied psychology in college and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida.[1][better source needed]

Jennifer "Jen" Flagg was born on October 28, 1990, also in Connecticut. Her parents divorced when she was young. She grew up in the same town as Julianelle and they met when they were in high school and both volunteered for their local humane society. Flagg went to college in California before moving to Jacksonville with Julianelle.[1][better source needed]

YouTube career

Julianelle created his YouTube channel in April 2012, and uploaded his first video a month later, a walkthrough of the video game RuneScape. The channel was formerly signed to the Fullscreen multi-channel network.[2] later, the YouTube channel would uploaded Let's Play videos of the video game Minecraft with his ex-wife Jennifer "Jen" Flagg, also known as GamingWithJen.[3] In 2018, Julianelle and Flagg published a graphic novel, A Hole New World, with HarperCollins.[4][5][better source needed]

Personal life

Julianelle was previously married to Jennifer "Jen" Flagg, who made frequent appearances on the channel.[3] They married in 2015.[1][better source needed] They divorced in 2019[6] after Flagg wanted children but Julianelle disagreeing.[7] Julianelle also has a cat named "Cloud".[citation needed]

Flagg later married Andy Ramone in October 2021. They had child, a boy, in September 2022.[7]

Legal issues

In November 2022, Julianelle was arrested for "breach of peace by three or more persons and criminal conspiracy" after he and another man helped film an accomplice running onto the field during a Raiders-Jaguars game at EverBank Stadium.[8][9]

In March 2024, Julianelle pled guilty to assaulting a police officer, resisting with violence, and possession of marijuana. He did not get jail time and instead received 12 months probation.[10][11] He had been approached by a police officer while sleeping on the side of a street after "having too much to drink" to do a wellness check. They searched his backpack and found "weed and a ton of Fireball" and, after being placed in handcuffs, tried to flee the scene. Julianelle was charged again in February 2025 with violating his parole after a urine sample was found to have traces of drugs.[12][better source needed]
