Prabhakar Chaudhary (born 1 January 1984)[1] is an officer of the Indian Police Service.[4]
History
Prabhakar Chaudhary was born on 1 January 1984 near Hanswar, Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh and his father’s name is Paras Nath Chaudhary. He also studied LLB after completing a BSc from Allahabad University. He is known for his simplicity and soft-spoken nature, but is considered quite strict against criminals. He has been posted as SP in Ballia, Bulandshahr, Kanpur. He was posted as SP in Sonbhadra. After the responsibility of SSP of Varanasi, he has now been given the responsibility of SSP of Moradabad. Prabhakar Chaudhary was also in the news when he came to take charge of Kanpur SP by carrying his bag like a student and riding in a roadways bus.[5]
SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary once said during a conversation with students that he wanted to become a lecturer in chemistry, but fate led him to the IPS. He used to study only for five to six hours per day. He has read all NCERT books.[6]
