Prakash Nathan is a Media professional with more than 22 years of work experience specialising in marketing and distribution of films.[1] After 10 long years in Entertainment viz. Moserbaer, UTV & Disney, he has now ventured on his entrepreneurial journey in Entertainment Media. He was Director for Operations & Post Production at The Walt Disney Company (India), a global media & entertainment giant, in his last assignment . He joined UTV in 2007 and has been a part of its transition from a domestic player to an international trouper, adding a new arena to his rich exposure.Prakash was a part of the formation of Alliance Against Copyright Theft (AACT)[2] and even conducted raids to stop piracy, during his employment with UTV.[3]  

He carries with him the accolade of the release of more than 100 commercial movies[4] across the world. PK, Kick, Heropanti, Filmistaan, Highway, Chennai Express, Jodhaa Akbar, Race, Race 2, Haider, 2 States, yeh jawaani hai diwani, Kai po che, Raajneeti, Satyagrah, ABCD, Delhi 6, A Wednesday, No one killed Jassica, Dev D, Paan Singh Tomar, Heroine, Barfi, Life in a Metro, Goal to name a few. His dynamic personality is not merely limited to the screen but goes beyond to the people behind it. He shares a very professional yet affable relationship with the leaders in this industry. Prakash is adroit and well adept in developing scripts and filtering projects, production, marketing, distribution and syndication.   It would be unfair to leave out his contribution to the epidemic of piracy which has engulfed the world of cinema in its garb. Prakash has played an instrumental role in varied anti-piracy actions, drawing the attention of media to his exemplary work in furtherance of this cause. Prior to joining this industry he has been part of and lead Marketing & Sales of various companies ranging from electronics to cement to office automation, which has made him a seasoned professional having an in-depth knowledge of sales & distribution which is an integral part of the media & entertainment industry. He can be reckoned as a well experienced professional eloquent with the business of cinema by virtue of his long standing acquaintance with the media & entertainment industry and the personage behind it.

Post that, Prakash started his entrepreneurial journey[5] and co-founded CineMArkets Digital Solutions[6] and Eagle Eye Entertainment.[7] He is currently heading both organizations and helps producers by strategizing all activities around a movie release. He also works with writers very closely in developing content.

Analytics and social listening tool Konnect Insights[8] has joined hands exclusively with Eagle Eye Entertainment, a company that specialises in marketing & solutions in the entertainment industry. Eagle Eye Entertainment, headed by Prakash Nathan, aims to target the film industry and provide insights into the buzz that's happening on films much before release. This also helps the marketing team take corrective measures on time.
