Qaseem Haider (born Sayyed Qaseem Haider Moosve on January 26, 1987) is an Indian actor, lyricist, and master of ceremonies who has worked in notable music video appearances
Early Life
Haider was born in Sasaram, Bihar, and moved to Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh, at age six. He began performing as a master of ceremonies at local religious events, which led to an interest in poetry and songwriting.[1][2]
Career
Haider’s acting career started with a role in the television series Kahin Der Na Ho Jaye (2013), aired on DD National.[3] He later relocated to Mumbai to pursue opportunities in acting and lyric writing. His film roles include Dream City Mumbai (2023) as a reporter and Pledge to Protect (2022) as a tea maker.[4][5]
As a lyricist, Haider has contributed to songs such as "Bekarar Mahi" (2020), "Sambhal Jao" (2021), and "Tajjub Hai" (2024), the latter featuring a collaboration with Xishmiya Brown.[6] He has also appeared in music videos, including "Soniye" (2024) with Xishmiya Brown and "Hhasrat" (2025) with Ayushi Tiwari.[7][8]

Awards and recognition
Haider received the Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films in 2021 for modeling and acting.[18] He was also recognized at the IPI Awards in 2022.[19]
