Quality Logo Products, Inc. (established in 2003) is a United States promotional merchandise distributor. As of 2018, it was the 40th largest distributor of such products in the US.
History
The company was founded in 2003 by Bret Bonnet and Michael Wenger through a grant from the Coleman Foundation, while they were attending North Central College.[5] In 2005, the firm was accredited by the Better Business Bureau.[1] In 2007, the company had 9 employees and owned an office in Aurora, Illinois.[6]
In 2009, Inc. first included it in “The Inc. 5000” list, which ranks the top 5000 fastest-growing privately-held companies in the United States, placing the company at #569.[7] Later the firm was also present on the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 lists.[7]
In 2014, Promo Marketing magazine first included the firm in “Promo Marketing Top 50 Distributors 2014” list with estimated sales of $25.8 million in 2013.[8] In 2016, the firm won 4 nominations for “Technology Award” from Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), and 3 nominations for the same award in 2017.[9][10] In 2017, the firm had 110 employees.[11]
In 2018, Counselor Magazine included Quality Logo Products in its list of the 40th largest US distributors, placing it in last place.[4] Also in 2018, the company founders established a scholarship program for students majoring in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management at North Central College.[5][12] In March 2018, Daily Herald newspaper recognized Quality Logo Products in its 28th Annual Award for Business Excellence.[13]
In May 2019, the firm was included in Fortune’s “55 Best Companies to Work For in Chicago” list.[3]
Products and services
Quality Logo Products does not have its own production. It sources promotional merchandise products from various factories and customizes the design for marketing at trade shows and events.[14] As of 2014, approximately 60% of the firm’s workforce was dedicated to customer service.[14]
