Rafael Alejandro Olave Anabalón (born 10 May 1995) is a Chilean former footballer who played as a forward for clubs in Chile and Mexico.

Career

As a youth player, Olave was with Deportes Temuco[2] and Universidad Católica,[3] with whom he won some youth championships such as XXI Torneo Internacional de Fútbol Infantil[4] and Apertura Fútbol Joven 2013,[5] before joining Unión Española,[6] making appearances for the B-team in the Segunda División Profesional de Chile.[7]

From 2015 to 2016, he had a stint with Mexican side Santos Laguna.[8][9]

Back in Chile, he joined Coquimbo Unido in 2017.[10] After a year as a free agent, he played for Deportivo Pilmahue in 2019.[8]

Controversies

On 9 August 2019, as a player of Deportivo Pilmahue, Olave was arrested for leaving his son inside a car while he attended the Casino Enjoy Pucón [es] and subsequently assaulting a policeman.[11][8]
