Raja Ben Slama

Raja Ben Slama (Arabic: رجاء بن سلامة ) is a Tunisian researcher and writer. She was born on August 2, 1968.[1] She obtained a doctorate degree in language, literature and Arab civilization in 1985 from the Higher Institute of Teachers in Tunis. Then she got a certificate of Tabriz in Arabic language, literature and civilization in 1988 from the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences in Tunisia. After that, she obtained doctorate degree in language, literature and Arab civilization with a thesis entitled "Love and Writing: Reading in the tradition".[1] She has also studied psychoanalysis in Tunisia and France. Slama is one of the founding members of the League of Arab Rationalists, the Association of Freedoms Manifesto in France, and the Tunisian Cultural Association for the Defense of Secularism. She is currently a psychoanalyst and editor-in-chief of Al-Awan magazine.
